I am an Investment Adviser Representative and Financial Planner with Economic Financial Services. I became interested in financial planning after seeing firsthand how hard people can work without necessarily having a plan for what they want that work to accomplish. I have always been fascinated by personal finance and investing, and I wanted to use that interest to help people make the decisions today that can give them greater freedom, flexibility, and opportunity in the future.
My approach is centered around comprehensive financial planning. I believe the key areas of someone's financial life should be considered and coordinated together, rather than treated as separate decisions. My goal is to help clients feel confident in the decisions they are making by helping them understand why a recommendation makes sense for them, how it benefits them, and where it fits into their overall plan. I want those decisions to make sense to the person sitting across from me, not simply because I recommended them, but because they understand how they support what they are trying to accomplish. I want to be someone clients can turn to when important financial decisions come up, regardless of where they are in life or what their goals may be.
My experience in financial planning has come through hands-on work, mentorship, and self-directed learning. I hold FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses and am licensed in Life and Health insurance. I earned an Associate Degree in Business Accounting from Henry Ford College, and much of my financial planning knowledge has continued to develop through working in the industry, reading, and educating myself along the way. I am naturally curious and enjoy challenging myself, learning new skills, and getting better at the things that interest me. I bring that same curiosity to my work with clients and believe there is always room to keep growing.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing guitar, especially 80s rock, playing chess, spending time outdoors, and being with family. The things I enjoy most tend to have something in common: there is always something new to learn and room to get better.
