Our Process
Our Process To Develop A Working Strategy
Our process starts with understanding where you are today and identifying what you want to accomplish. From there, we develop and implement a financial game plan for you moving forward, then continue to review and reevaluate as life changes.
Step 3: Recommendation Meeting
Once we know what you want to accomplish and what resources you have today, we evaluate the two together. At this point in the process, we have gathered all the necessary information and worked together as a team to develop personalized recommendations for you moving forward. You will better understand the thoughtful work we've put into helping you achieve your financial success.
Step 4: Implement, & Continue Reviewing Your Financial Strategy
If you decide to move forward, you will work closely with our team to implement your financial plan. But the planning process does not end here. Comprehensive financial planning is not a “set it and forget it” process. Your financial goals and priorities will change over time, and your plan should evolve with them. Through routine reviews and adjustments, we will continue to help ensure that you are working efficiently toward your definition of financial success.
Take The First Step In The Process
Tell us what you are working toward and what financial decisions are in front of you. We’ll start by understanding your objectives and current situation.
Understand What Happens Before, During, & After Your Initial Financial Plan
Economic Financial Services begins by identifying your financial objectives and determining your current financial profile. We then evaluate your situation against those objectives, develop and implement a financial strategy, and review and reevaluate it over time.
Financial planning may require information about your income, expenses, debt, savings, investments, insurance, taxes, retirement accounts, pensions, and estate considerations. The specific information we gather depends on your financial situation and objectives.
At EFS, recommendations come after we understand your objectives, gather your financial information, and evaluate your current financial profile. This helps ensure the recommendations are based on your situation rather than starting with a predetermined strategy.
A financial plan should be reviewed as your circumstances, goals, and financial picture change. At EFS, reviewing and reevaluating your strategy on a regular basis is built into the financial planning process.
You remain responsible for setting the direction and making decisions about your financial life. EFS describes the client as the “CEO,” while our role is to serve as an educator, information source, and financial resource that helps you work through financial roadblocks.
