I am a Senior Financial Planner, Investment Advisor Representative, and Branch Manager at Economic Financial Services (EFS). I began my career as a financial advisor in 1997 and purchased EFS in 1999 from its original owner, who founded the firm in 1979.
For me, financial planning has always been about more than investments and numbers-it is about people, their goals, and the lives they want to build. I believe taking a comprehensive approach to financial planning is essential to making sound recommendations and putting each client's needs and interests first.
My passion for financial planning began long before I entered the profession. On my 10th birthday, my parents opened my first checking account for me. That experience sparked an early interest in understanding how money is earned, managed, spent, and invested. As I grew older, that curiosity developed into a lifelong commitment to helping others make informed financial decisions.
I believe the strongest client-advisor relationships are built on trust, realistic goals, education, and accountability. My philosophy is simple: when a client is genuinely committed to improving their financial life, I am committed to doing the work necessary to make complex financial concepts easier to understand and, most importantly, easier to put into action.
Today, my focus extends beyond serving my clients. I am dedicated to growing EFS by mentoring the next generation of financial advisors and helping build a firm that will continue to serve clients for generations to come. I look for advisors who are committed to learning, possess exceptional character, and understand that financial advice must be delivered with honesty and integrity
I graduated from Central Michigan University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration undergraduate degree. I hold FINRA series 7, 24, 51, 63 and 66 securities licenses. I have earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (CHFC) designation from the American College, and hold life, disability, and health insurance licenses.
I grew up in and continue to live and work in Allen Park, MI. I am extremely proud of my four children and enjoy spending as much time with my family as possible. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy golfing, mountain biking, skiing, and hiking. I have also spent many years giving back to my community by coaching youth hockey, softball, baseball, and golf.
